LAKE NAIVASHA
Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in Kenya, outside the town of Naivasha in Nakuru County, which lies north west of Nairobi. It is part of the Great Rift Valley.
MASAI MARA
Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of Maasai people.
NAIROBI
Nairobi is Kenya’s capital city. In addition to its urban core, the city has Nairobi National Park, a large game reserve known for breeding endangered black rhinos and home to giraffes, zebras and lions. Next to it is a well-regarded elephant orphanage operated by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Nairobi is also often used as a jumping-off point for safari trips elsewhere in Kenya.
Pickup from JKI Airport and drive to Lake Naivasha (2.5 hours) in time for lunch at the lodge. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. The lake is home to many hippo and an amazing diversity of birdlife.

After breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve (5 hours). Arrive at the lodge for a late lunch. Afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara that offers the chance to capture all of the ‘Big 5’ on camera. As the sun starts to fade, predators begin to stalk the many zebra, gazelle, waterbuck, eland, antelope and buffalo in the reserve.

Morning and afternoon games drives in the Masai Mara, returning to the lodge for lunch. See hyenas inspecting last night’s kills, elephants wallowing at the waterhole and a grassland that captures the essence of the African wilderness. Observe the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, buffalo, lion, warthog and many other species that populate the Mara.

After breakfast, proceed to Nairobi. Arrive in time for lunch at a local Indian restaurant (payable direct). Pass the Nairobi city and see the sights of the city en-route to your hotel. Kenya’s capital is cosmopolitan, lively, interesting and pleasantly landscaped. Its central business district is handily compact and is a great place to tune into modern urban African life. Today, it is the largest city between Cairo and Johannesburg. Nairobi (green city in the sun) is an attractive and growing city that stands on the edge of the Athi Plains and the gentle slopes of Limuru that rise in the Aberdares Mountains. It is an important business and social center with high-rise buildings and international hotels and a good selection of restaurants serving several international cuisines. Public parks and beautiful gardens dot the city and the main routes out of town are tree-lined avenues.

After breakfast, check-out and return back to Nairobi to arrive in time and transfer to Jommo Kenyatta Airport for your flight back home.
